At Kōhatu Mauri, we provide a diverse range of services that are rooted in Te Ao Māori. Each service we offer is designed to uplift and empower, leaving a lasting positive impact.

Interventions

As an approved and trained service provider for Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections NZ), we offer vital support and interventions to individuals on their transformative journeys, guiding them towards positive pathways and reintegration into the community. If you or your whānau are needing support pre-sentence, during sentence or post sentence we may be able to assist with a report (no cost to whānau).

Creative
Expression

Our creative arm is dedicated to producing diverse products and custom Māori made items. From business signs to dopamine decor, each creation is a testament to our commitment to cultural preservation and innovation. As artists, we aspire to exhibit our works and will post pieces and exhibition details accordingly throughout the year. We are open to collaborating with other creatives, so feel free to contact us to brainstorm ideas.

Empowering
Workshops & EVENTS

We host engaging workshops tailored for corporates or groups, providing opportunities for cultural immersion and personal growth. Team bonding and development Workshops, amazing races, trivia nights, sip and paint sessions and event planning/styling are infused with Māori cultural elements, fostering connections and celebrating diversity.

In our vibrant and inclusive Te Hapori Whānui, we foster a sense of belonging and connection among individuals, whānau, and the wider community. Rooted in the values of Te Ao Māori, our community is a space where cultural richness, support, and empowerment intersect.
